Curly & Spike was founded in the spring of 1999 by Randal Sutherland and Patrick Chakmakchian.
Both Randal (Curly) and Patrick (Spike) have been heavily involved in the music community. Starting
out in a band together, then running a record label and finally starting a custom merch company.

Curly & Spike Custom Merch started out in Randal’s home making buttons and patches for local
bands in the Los Angeles area. About a year later, Curly & Spike also started offering t-shirts and
hats world-wide and soon realized they were running out of room fast. They moved into a warehouse
in beautiful Sun Valley, CA in 2003. Curly & Spike has been committed to making high quality custom
merchandise for bands, artists, and companies for over eight years. Curly & Spike is focused on
making every customer 100% satisfied with each order.
